Sonic Whole Body Vibration Therapy
The TurboSonic® Whole Body Vibration System uses sound waves to vibrate a plate in a purely vertical direction. The frequency can be varied from as low as 4 Hz up to 50 Hz. Lower frequencies have been found to create the most powerful effect. Unlike mechanical vibration devices, Sonic Whole Body Vibration produces almost no audible sound. Also, mechanical vibration units operate at frequencies above 20 Hz which require that subjects do push-ups or lift weights to produce a training response.
